Bio

Ascending from the most remote lower class slum the midwest has to offer, he comes to with the hopes of revitalized music taste, with the idea of a society that once again appreciates good music, a place where The Tribe lives on and Phife Dawg still kicks the mic, and Lou Reed gets the credit he deserves, and Marvin Gaye is still the voice of romance, and Slick Rick still tells childrens stories, and Biggie and Pac are still relevant, and people still care. My name is Brady Halverson, and I’m from Minnesota. Welcome to the new age, the age of the good, the age of the Get Down.

The Get Down

Bio

Born and raised in the musty metropolis of the Midwest, Dayton, Ohio, Sam Jenks made his way to Chicago with big dreams. He was quickly swept up in the glamorous high-society world of college radio, and now hosts a show called Chill with Bill. Jenks can often be found awkwardly eating a sandwich in a crowded train car or pacing back and forth in his dorm room for extended periods of time. When asked to comment on his new show with Radio DePaul, he was quoted as saying, "yea, I'm terrified, but maybe it'll be funnier that way."
